CHOCOLATE COVERED OREOS

These are super fun, super easy, cheap, and you can make a TON since they don't take long to whip up. You should make chocolate covered Oreos if you need to make a lot of one thing, or if you want to put a fun twist on a simple idea.


Prep Time: 5 minutes
Decorating Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 39 cookies
INGREDIENTS
Oreos
2 Bags of either white, milk or dark chocolate candy melts
Sprinkles of your choice (I chose red and green for the holidays
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In medium bowl, melt chocolate candy melts according to instructions on candy melt bag. (microwave & stir every 30 seconds) #GALTIP: If your melts start to burn and loose consistency, add a 1/3 cap full of vegetable oil to revert the burn process.
2. Dip plain Oreos into the melted chocolate half way, and immediately dip the chocolate sides into one of the bowls of sprinkles, then lay down on baking sheet with parchment paper. You may need to baking sheets, but they can fit on one if you place them close to each other. Repeat until Oreo bag is done.
3. Place baking sheet(s) in fridge for 10 minutes if serving immediately. If serving next day or beyond, place them in freezer and take out an hour before serving.
